Oceanbound — Call of Whales
Heartopia's half-anniversary season. It adds an underwater region, two things that outlive the season (the Ocean Cleanup hobby and the Seamount home), an ocean Fashionwave, and a conservation tie-in.

Clean pollution off the floor of Whalefall Canyon for seashells and Collection Points. Announced as permanent — it stays after August 22.
SeamountMini world
An underwater home you enter through the management console. Build and decorate an ocean-themed space with the new furniture and building materials.
Whalefall CanyonArea
The new underwater region: corals, sea creatures and a whale skeleton. You swim freely in every direction and there is an underwater sprint for covering ground. Entrance is the portal near the base of Whale Mountain; you need D.G. Member Level 7.

Call of Whales Fashionwave
The season's cosmetic track. Known pieces: Sea Flower Bud Dress, Sailor Swimsuit / Snorkeling Jumpsuit, matching pet outfits, the Cute Dance action, plus ocean furniture and building materials.
Fashionwave Store
Azure runs the event store from the Whalefall Canyon base camp. He buys materials from you for event tokens and trades rewards for them.
Limited-time fish
New fish appear in the Whale Sea for the duration of the event, and their star ratings feed into your event prize total.
Call of Whales Concert
An in-season event. Also new this season: the Memory Journal.

A conservation tie-in built around the Indo-Pacific humpback dolphin. Reaching certain Ocean Cleanup hobby levels enters you into a draw for the limited Voice of the Deep gift box, which contains a card carrying a genuine dolphin soundprint.

When does Heartopia's Oceanbound / Call of Whales event end?
The Call of Whales Fashionwave runs from July 11 at 06:00 to August 22 at 05:59 server time. The time-limited pass can be claimed between July 16 and August 29, 2026.
How do you get to the new underwater map?
Whalefall Canyon needs D.G. Member Level 7. Enter through the portal near the base of Whale Mountain. Once inside you can swim freely in any direction and sprint underwater.
What in the Oceanbound update is permanent?
The Ocean Cleanup hobby, the Seamount underwater home and the Whalefall Canyon area itself. The Fashionwave cosmetics, the event store and the limited-time fish are seasonal and close with the event on August 22.
Where do you find Glass Wart and Sea Grapes?
Both are gathered while exploring Whalefall Canyon. Glass Wart is used in the new Glass Wart Shrimp Fried Rice recipe. New recipes, and the Tidal Stove, are unlocked through Massimo's quest "New Tastes In Town".
What free rewards can you get during the half-anniversary?
